Of course you dont need the upgraded shift linkage as the stock is completely compatible. I can overcome that problem and will so on my track bike first. One of the bolt holes in the case lines up perfectly the other is missing. It has a different pattern plate on top of the shift drum, that needs a plate to lay across the top of it. They have upgraded the shifting mechanism also, but its not just bolt in. ![]()
